What is biodynamic craniosacral therapy?
BCST is a natural, non-invasive holistic therapy that supports people to explore what makes up their being, and promote their health, whether that be physically, emotionally or spiritually.
Our bodies have an innate intelligence that supports self-regulating processes, which promotes a natural rhythm and energy flow. BCST helps clients to restore these processes, encouraging mindfulness, stillness, and for the body to find its own way to heal. As in many things, the best way to understand is to experience.

What to expect during your treatment
During a session clients lie on the treatment table fully clothed. The practitioner will use a light touch to ‘empathetically listen to the body’ and act as an anchor for it to focus its energy.
As the body tunes in to the practitioners touch (and vice versa), the client may or may not experience both physical and emotional changes. These may include sensations such as tingling, buzzing, small movements, a deep sense of relaxation and various others. All of these are normal, natural responses. In biodynamic work the practitioner does not physically adjust bones or tissue, instead facilitating the body to find its own pathway to better health.
About Me
Hi, I’m Denise Smillie, and I am a fully qualified and certified practitioner of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. I also have a background in nursing, and have worked in many caregiving roles.
I found BCST as part of my own growth journey. This inspired me toward supporting others in seeing what BCST could provide for them.
Initially I was working out of Stratford, however I now have a clinic in Inglewood. I am happy to answer any questions you might have about BCST, and I look forward to hearing from you.
